Today is Donut Day! Woohooo! . That’s what Addison says at least. She and the rest of us at Extreme Sports Scuba also want to extend a special thank you to all service men and women who are both currently serving and who are veteran’s of this great country. It is great people like you that help keep this country going strong. So with out further ado, let’s meet today’s diver interview. (also if you know of someone we forgot, please by all means let us know!)

How did you get started diving?
I was in the military and I was bored. MWR (Moral Welfare and Recreation) offered classes after working hours so I tried it.
How long have you been diving?
Certified in 95, dove for 3 years and then quit while waiting for the children to get old enough to dive and now we’re back to diving.
How many dives do you make in a typical year?
I haven’t made one since 98. I hope to make at least 6-8.
What other hobbies do you have?
That’s it. We gave them all up.
Where is your favorite place to dive?
Guam. I’m a fair water diver although I plan to try the New Year’s Day dive to say I did it.
What is your most comical dive experience?
When I stuck my face in a whole in the coral. A puffer fish came out and scared the pee out of me.
What is your occupation?
IT at a Banking Software Company.
Words of wisdom/tips or tricks for fellow divers?
You’re never to old to start again. Or to out of shape.
