Equipment Maintenance Seminar

  • Who: Grady Weston AND YOU
  • Where: Extreme Sports SCUBA classroom
  • Why: Because there will be donuts!… Haha, just kidding! To learn Equipment Maintenance
  • How much: FREE

So this month, if you have been following along, we have been talking about equipment maintenance. So far we have covered Cylinder Maintenance, Regulator Maintenance, How to Store Equipment, and Wetsuit Maintenance. This was leading up to the Equipment Maintenance Seminar class THIS SATURDAY.

What will be covered in the class?

  • Regulators
  • BCs
  • Cylinders
  • Fins
  • Masks
  • Wetsuits
  • Save-a-Dive kits

Now you may be asking, this all sounds familiar, so why should I attend? Well other than the fact that there will be donuts… there will be so much more in-depth information, more than these blog posts can cover about maintenance of your gear.

When you are relying on this equipment to be your lifeline for underwater exploration, why wouldn’t you want to take care of this gear?

Whether you’ve heard it once or 20 times, it is always a good thing to refresh your knowledge. Grady does an excellent job of describing what to do and why. Plus, there are excellent visuals. And when all else fails, there will be questions and it is always fun to pick through Grady’s years of knowledge and experience. Try to stump him. It’s fun!! I dare you. In fact, I double dog dare you. That means you need to be here!!

So, who should attend? Well, of course, YOU!!! You the new diver. You the experienced diver. Even you, the I think I want to dive, diver. Basically, everyone should attend. It’s definitely a good idea to learn something new every day! I’m pretty sure that’s a doctor’s order just like eating an apple a day.

And best of all, it’s free. AND there are donuts. Come on, that should be reason enough. And of course, if you know Grady, there will be coffee.
