I have one question for you today… Have you gotten the chance to go to Cozumel yet? I’m really referring to going to Cozumel on a group trip. Have you? Why do I ask? Well because… If you have, I’m sure you’ve met Cesar. If you haven’t, you really need to meet him. This guy can dive like no one’s business. He has mad diving skills. And swimming skills at that.
Are you confused yet? Okay, stick with me here… So a year ago when we went to Cozumel for the February dive trip, Deb and Grady decided Cesar needed better fins to dive with. When we went back in May for the Grad-Ge-8-Shen trip, we took him a pair of the Camo Jet Fins. I swear, you’d have thought we gave him a million dollars.
Anyone have any guesses on what we’re going to be discussing today? (raises hand, but I guess since I’m writing this post I don’t get a guess….)
Jet Fins.
Not to be confused with Twin Jet fins… those are coming later.
Fins are another one of those things you need to try on quite a few and find what works best for you because what works for you may not work for someone else. But these Jet fins tend to be a crowd pleaser, especially with the dry suit divers
So going back to Cesar… these fins set the standard for power and durability. Really necessary when you are discussing chasing after sharks and turtles to be able to film them. Except the Hammer Head shark, but I guess that’s a touchy subject for a different day
The design of these fins feature a vented design to help decrease drag while diving but give you the ability to thrust downwardly to get going after that sea life to film or still photo them.
