Extreme Diver Interview – Dave Eaves

Whew, this has been quite the morning but I didn’t forget… BTW, Dan, It’s Wednesday! Just stating that! Okay, now that we’ve established it’s Wednesday and letting Dan know it is Wednesday it’s time to proceed on to the Diver Interview. Up today is Dave Eaves. And don’t worry, I’ve been working on going through the millions of photos about the Safari Hunt and writing the post. It’ll be up ASAP but today, today is Diver interviews so let’s get to it. How did you get started diving?

I actually started doing this in 86 but never finished my class. It was always something I wanted to do. We checked around and talked to local dive shops and someone told us about Extreme Sports Scuba and we weren’t here 5 minutes and knew this is where we needed to be.

How long have you been diving?

3 ½ years now.

How many dives do you make in a typical year?

Around 100.

What other hobbies do you have?

Hunting, fishing and being Papa

Where is your favorite place to dive?

Cozumel

What is your most comical dive experience?

New Years Day forgetting my dive boots and having to borrow Dan La Due’s shorty boots that were 3 sizes too small. But it’s whatever it takes to get the dive in.

What is your occupation?
