As I was debating who to post about this week I thought it might be kind of fun to switch it up and post another interview that I conducted at the New Year’s Day dive. Wow, that seems like forever and a day ago. Like I said I have some of these posts that I’ve conducted a while back but plan on different times to post them than immediately. I restate that so if I’ve done your interview but it hasn’t posted, never fear! Oh and if I haven’t conducted your interview but have asked if I could… I’m holding off for a specific date. Anyway I want to introduce you to one of our newer divers, Steve Sweet. He’s a lot of fun (as is his wife!!) and you definitely should get to know him (them).
How did you get started diving?
My brother Dave Eaves.
How long have you been diving?
6 months. (Since this was done at New Year’s… we need to add 5 months to that… So it’s now officially 11 months )
How many dives do you make in a typical year?
Lots of laughs. I’ve made 10 counting New Years Day dive.
What other hobbies do you have?
I make beer. I like to hunt, fish, camp, outdoors, spending time with my wife and family.
Where is your favorite place to dive?
I like Mermet Springs.
What is your most comical dive experience?
Diving in the cold water of New Year’s Day in Beaver Lake. I think everyone should try it once or twice.
What is your occupation?
Words of wisdom/tips or tricks for fellow divers?
Dive at least once on New Year’s Day. Enjoy every time you get to spend in the water and dive every chance you get. And always, always have fun.
